The Dragons came up a little short in a very hard fought game against their arch rival Clarkston. Even though the Dragons moved the ball throughout the game, the final score ended with Clarkston ahead by a score of 21 to 19. The Dragons scored first on a 1 yard run by Brandon Oaks. The extra point try failed. The Wolves scored next and the half ended with Clarkston ahead 7 to 6. In the second half the Wolves struck first on a long 82 yard run. The Dragons played hard in the second half and scored late in the half on a 2 yard run by Ryan Broth. The attempt for 2 failed and the Dragons were still down by 2 with Clarkston ahead 14 to 12. With less than 4 minutes to go Clarkston scores after another big play and they were ahead by 9. The Dragon Passing game came alive late as Broth led the team down the field with completions to Chad Nieswand and a touch down to Michael Nelson. With the score now 21 to 19 and only seconds remaining the Dragons tried an on side kick but the wolves recovered and the game ended.

Next week's game will be important for both teams. The winner of the game between the Dragons and West Bloomfield will qualify for the state playoffs. Come to this last home game and Cheer for the Dragons as the try to finish the regular season with a win and a playoff berth.
