9/12/08 Lake Orion vs Oak Park W 34-14

The Third game of the season was a statement game for the Dragons.  Oak Park was coming off a big win against Southfield Lathrup and the Dragons were looking for their second win.

The game started a little slow for the dragons.  On the Dragon first offensive series the Oak Park Defense intercepted a pass and ran it back for the games first score.  A few minutes later the Dragons rebounded with a 64 yard TD pass from Freshman Sean Charette to Junior Mike Nelson.  AJ Gill ran in the extra points to make it 8-6 Dragons.

The Dragons never looked back.  Senior Mike Lott and Junior Kym Bruce each scored 2 more touchdowns to lead the Dragons to a final score of 34 to 14.

Lott Scored on a 5 yard run and a 25 yard pass from Junior QB Derek Coe.
Bruce scored on runs of 6 and 3 yards.  
Jeff Heath converted 3 extra point kicks.

The Defense was tough the whole game.  The Dragons hit the Chargers Hard from both sides of the ball and by the end of the game it seemed like half the Oak Park starting lineup had been sent to the sidelines.
